N-648 Immigration Psychological Evaluations
Psychological evaluations for individuals seeking a medical disability exception to the English and civics requirements for naturalization. These evaluations assess whether a qualifying mental or physical condition significantly limits an individual's ability to meet USCIS testing requirements. When clinically appropriate, an N-648 will be completed in accordance with USCIS standards.
Therapy Services
Therapy can help individuals cope with the emotional impact of immigration-related stressors, including acculturation challenges, family separation, identity development, discrimination, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I create a supportive and compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen resilience, and work toward healing and personal growth.
Assessment
If you're seeking answers about emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns, a diagnostic assessment can provide greater clarity and direction for treatment. A brief psychological assessment can help identify or clarify mental health diagnoses and provide individualized recommendations for care.
These evaluations may be appropriate for individuals experiencing symptoms such as:
Anxiety
Depression
Trauma-related concerns
Mood changes
Attention and concentration difficulties
Behavioral or emotional concerns
Life transitions and stress-related symptoms
Each assessment includes a comprehensive clinical interview, review of relevant history, standardized psychological measures (when appropriate), diagnostic impressions, and personalized treatment recommendations.
